Beta March 2027

Google Play and the App Store from mid-April 2027, with the website alongside.

How it works

From your question to the evidence, in three steps

  1. You ask

Type your question in Arabic or English, the way you would ask a teacher.

  2. Bidalil searches the sources

It looks through the Quran and the authenticated hadith collections for passages that speak to your question.

  3. You get the evidence

The passages appear word for word, each with its reference, and every hadith with its grade, followed by a short plain explanation.

What an answer looks like

Evidence first, then a short explanation

A sample prepared by hand to show the format. Bidalil is not live yet.

Question

What do the Quran and Sunnah say about patience in hardship?

Quran

Al-Baqarah 2:153

O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allāh is with the patient.

Translation: Saheeh International

Hadith

Sahih Muslim 2999Grade: Sahih

Suhaib reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:

Strange are the ways of a believer for there is good in every affair of his and this is not the case with anyone else except in the case of a believer for if he has an occasion to feel delight, he thanks (God), thus there is a good for him in it, and if he gets into trouble and shows resignation (and endures it patiently), there is a good for him in it.

In short

The verse pairs patience with prayer and says that Allah is with those who are patient. The hadith adds that for a believer, hardship borne with patience becomes a source of good.

This is evidence, not a ruling. For your own situation, ask a qualified scholar.

Principles

What Bidalil will and will not do

  • Evidence first

Every answer starts from the Quran and authenticated Sunnah, not from an opinion.

  • Quoted word for word

Texts appear exactly as they do in the source, with the reference so you can check.

  • It says when it does not know

When no evidence is found, Bidalil says so. It does not fill the gap.

  • Citation checks and scholar review

Every answer passes an automated citation check before it is shown. A qualified scholar will review the prompts and sample answers that shape how Bidalil answers.

  • Never a ruling

Your question is never turned into a fatwa. Personal and sensitive matters are referred to a qualified scholar.

Sources

Where the evidence comes from

  • The Quran

    At launch

The Uthmani text of the Quran with established translations. Each quotation gives the surah and the verse number.

  • The Sunnah

    At launch

The major hadith collections in Arabic and English, with references and grades. Each quotation gives the collection, the hadith number and its grade.

  • Established fatwa collections, under licence

    Later

Later, and only through an agreed route, to show how qualified scholars have applied the evidence.

These dates are plans, not promises. If they move, this page will say so.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is this a fatwa service?

No. Bidalil shows what the Quran and authenticated Sunnah say about your question, word for word and with references. It does not issue rulings of its own, and it refers personal and sensitive matters to a qualified scholar.

Which sources does it use?

The Quran and the major hadith collections. Each text is quoted with its reference, and each hadith with its grade. Established fatwa collections may be added later, under licence.

Which languages?

Arabic and English at launch.

Which platforms?

Android on Google Play and iPhone on the App Store from mid-April 2027, with the website alongside. The March 2027 beta goes to people on this waitlist first.

How are answers checked?

Every answer passes an automated citation check before it is shown: each quotation is compared with its source and each reference is confirmed. The prompts and sample answers will also be reviewed by a qualified scholar.
